Where is it?

Last year at the end of January pictures began to appear of the new modular building 'Green Grocer'. This year - nothing. The release date of that set was March. We're only four weeks away from that. Hopefully the first pics will come through in the next couple of days. I for one can't wait. I'm expecting something with two separate buildings this time (don't know why).

What do you think?

  2. I got no news from my contacts. Last year at LEGOPalooza, Joe Meno already had the Green Grocer and we were able to display it during the show.

This year, zip, and Palooza's come and gone.

  3. Draddog - I meant the newer set to be released this year. 10185 was released last year.

    Sorry - Richard.

  4. Hmm, not sure what it could be this time. I certainly hope it turns out to be a bank though, with a large safe and money counters :D.

I'm going to be really upset if they discontinue the line in favor of the more childish sets (such as Power Miners). Though these must have been a money maker, so I doubt that.

  5. I really hope Lego is succeeding in keeping this a big secret and comes up with the most wonderful building of the line yet in March.

  8. I've been watching www.eurobricks.com, www.brickjournal.com, www.brickset.com, www.brickshelf.com, and www.flickr.com like a hawk for a few weeks now, and I got nothin'. Either they've got a big surprise coming up, it's been delayed, or the line has been cut. Hopefully it's the first choice. Just remember, if you like this stuff, buy it. That's the only way we get more. They're not going to keep making new sets of only a few people are buying. I'd love to hear about the sales numbers for the sets out so far.

  9. A few things. 1. I totally agree that we all need to buy the next modular building. 2. I think this is the longest that LEGO have kept something without it leaking in recent years. 3. Supersteen??? could this be the same Steen 'Official LEGO designer' who created the beautiful VW Beetle? Maybe TLG are throwing us a bone here. I think we should look out for LEGO World in the next few days like he says.
