Brick Town Talk

I don't know about you, but I have been really inspired by the new LEGO Cafe Corner set. It has inspired me, and I notice, lots of other people to create additional buildings to add next door to it.

It would be great to hear and receive pictures from anyone who wants to contribute to this blog.

This blog is dedicated to LEGO Cafe Corner and its neighbours...

This is an unofficial LEGO fan site.

  1. Lookin' good. :) The second one I built goes side by side with the Cafes next to each other and the "Hotels" on either end. Had to build the second one opposite of the plans.

  3. Hey,

Welcome to the world of brick blogging. I've added your site to my blog links at VignetteBricks and MicroBricks. This is a great idea for a blog, as I think the Cafe Corner set is going to inspire a lot of great Town building, much like the Blacksmith Shop did with Castle and the introduction of the Moonbase standard did with Space.

One comment, I don't think you need prior permission to post on people's MOCs as long as you give credit and link back to the original source. At least that's how most of the other LEGO blogs operate. Of course if someone asked me to remove an entry of theirs I would do so immediately.

BTW, have you seen Mumu's great microscale Cafe Corner?

One suggestion - you should interview Eric Brok about the upcoming Market Street set.

  4. Thank you so much for the advise. It is really exciting to be listed on your Blog. I will return the favour as soon as I can work out how its done.

I'm also going to add a note in my profile about permission and just use the pictures I find like you've suggested (of course listing a credit and the original source).

    Thank you.
