Lego Modular State Capital

Lego Modular State Capital, originally uploaded by lgorlando.
A little bit overdue, but this State Capital by lgorlando is just magnificent (and I apologize for overlooking it.) The detailing in architecture and well-placed color use makes for a fantastic creation. Maybe it's just me, but I'm willing to bet this could jump start anybody's building desire. Keep up the well built creations!

The Liberation of Cherbourg

Dunechaser unveils a a classic scene from World War 2 with his Cherbourg diorama. Excellent photography and extremely realistic buildings make for an inspiring creation. My favorite aspect is probably the jagged gray wall in the back, very well done. We look forward to more Dunechaser!

Persian Corner

Persian Corner, originally uploaded by elkapitan1.

Here we go! The Prince of Persia pieces are flowing into Cafe Corner models. At first glance I thought the same builder from our previous post made this, but no. Another builder has taken advantage of the new arches and colors to make this masterpiece. Great job on this!

Nizam's Persian Restaurant

Nizam's Persian Restaurant, originally uploaded by gotoAndLego.

First off I would like to apologize for my leave of absence. School's coming around, so I must keep up with that. Thanks for staying with us!

Now onto this terrific creation. The mix between the middle-eastern architectural details and the "small town" look to makes for a fantastic view. The colors are rarities themselves, and who can't love that sign?

Great job, and keep it up!

Been Building...

I had a wonderful trip to Exeter (to see my friends Darren and Claire) and Cornwall. I was inspired to build. This boat goes with the building I'm making. I still have a few things to add. Oh, and just for anonymous I've changed the background. Happy building.

Art Deco City Hall 2.0, originally uploaded by Rob Bender
I can't say I've seen the first one, but this one by Rob Bender sure is fantastic. The sleek and modern looking facade with a nicely centered tower makes for a very aesthetically pleasing sight. Very inspiring!
