Under Construction

Men at Work- (BTT) You know you hate the dust and reduced speed limits, but construction is a necessary evil. You wouldn't want the building that you're reading this in to fall down around you, would you? No. But, construction doesn't always have to be ugly. Just one look at these modified modular buildings shows how good it can look. The modified Grand Emporium, with  bar, rooftop gallery, expanded toy store (Now stocking Lego!), and cafe doesn't missuse the larger floor plan. The growing Fire Brigade, meanwhile, has incorporated another floor, complete with balcony, and what looks like a new garage, under construction. We'll keep you posted on the progress of this project!

Tinytown, USA - (BTT) Wanting the luxuries of the big city but lacking the space in which to do so, the residents in this town were caught in quite a dilemma. Over the squabbling and bickering in a recent town hall meeting, a voice in the crowd shouted "Why not just make every building half as wide?" and suddenly all was right with the world.

Buildings on Every Corner

It's a good chance we have posted something from Mr. Lopes before, but recently, he posted an update of his town with all sorts of cool buildings and models. Take a stroll past the fire station, through the train yards, or to Al's diner. Or maybe you're after a tattoo or want to play some pool? Let's just say urban decay never looked so good.

Times Gone By

The Central Fire Station in Rochester, Minnesota was built in 1898 and used all the way up until 1930. Unfortunately it was torn down, but this incredible model by (RTN LNA) keeps the building alive in both spirit and design. Truly an incredible structure.
