Empty Building Fronts

from JapiowJapiow's flickr photos

These houses are really in more of a classic town scale (~7 bricks per floor instead of ~10 bricks per floor for Cafe Corner scale), but they show some interesting techniques. Who hasn't wondered if we could save parts by only building the visible parts of buildings instead of a full structure?

  1. This is something that I am trying to do with the current Lego offerings. I am trying to create structures that can be more easily lit from behind, and not within (I am already doing that and it is a pain).
On another note, does anyone think that the scale of Cafe Corner is not quite correct as compared to Fire Brigade or Green Grocer?

  2. It was rather interesting for me to read the blog. Thank you for it. I like such topics and everything connected to this matter. I would like to read more soon.

  3. I'd agree - Cafe Corner is definitely a little smaller. I figure it's because they were still unsure about whether or not people would really buy a set that size. They wanted to put a "trial balloon" out there before trying out a little bit more with rooflines and furniture.

  4. BTW, use GPS jammer to block all secret transmitters in your room or office.
